SOSS 301 : Qualitative Research Methods

This course will address the social scientific research process including an examination of research ethics, theory, and research design. methods addressed in a qualitative course include but are not limited to field methods (e.g. ethnography and participant observcation), intensive interviewing, focus groups, and unobtrustive research methods. Prerequisite: SOSS 200. Three lecture hours and one laboratory hour. Four semester hours.
