Social Science Core (15 Credits)
- Choose three courses at the 100-level, one of each in HIST, POLS, and SOCI.
- Choose two additional courses in HIST, POLS, SOCI, or CVIN at the 100 or 200 level.
Social Science Methods (11/12 credits + 4 credits in STATs)
Students are required to take SOSS 200- Introduction to Research Methods (4 Credits)
Take at least two of the following:
- HIST 205- Historical Methods (3 Credits)- Required for History Track
- SOSS 301- Qualitative Methods (4 Credits)
- SOSS 302- Quantitative Methods (4 Credits)
Math Requirement
- STAT 161 (4 Credits)
Sociology Track Requirements
Students take SOCI 334 Social Theory and choose four additional courses from the list below. Courses that were taken to fulfill the Social Science core requirements may not be used to fulfill the Sociology Track specialization requirements.
