Incomplete Courses

A grade of I (Incomplete) may be given only when the student has been in attendance and has done satisfactory work until within two weeks of the end of the semester and has provided proof to the instructor that the work cannot be completed due to illness or other circumstances beyond the student's control. In these cases, an Incomplete Grade Agreement Form is submitted to the Registrar's Office with signatures from the instructor and the student. The Incomplete grade carries no credit and must be removed by the end of the next semester of the regular academic year. If the work is not finished during that time, the grade will revert to the grade the student had earned at the time the Incomplete Agreement was submitted.  Exceptions to this regulation require approval of the Associate Provost.
