Calculus I provides the foundation for the calculus sequence, including analytical techniques and theorems. Topics include graphical, numerical, and symbolic study of functions and limits; fundamental concepts of differentiation and integration including the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus; differentiation formulas; integration by substitution; applications will include: curve sketching, optimization, exponential growth and decay models, and velocity and acceleration models.
