Precalculus is designed to help students develop the computational and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in Calculus. Topics covered will include: Solving and graphing equations of polynomial, exponential, logarithmic functions, with an emphasis on graphing using function transformations. Trigonometry will be covered from both a unit circle and a right triangle perspective and will include working with formulas and identities, solving equations, and graphing Trigonometric functions. The course involves a lab component that reviews and reinforces the Algebra and basic Math skills needed each week. This course is designed for STEM majors and other students who need Calculus.
