EGSC 300 : Genetic Engineering - Genetics

Hereditary, cytogenetics, population dynamics DNA structure and function. This course incorporates lab techniques necessary for genetic engineering and DNA analysis, as well as a consideration of the social and ethical implications of genetic engineering. Prerequisites: C or better in Biology 117, sophomore status, or permission of instructor. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours. Four semester hours.
